Food and Drink

There are several food and drink establishments in the Town, one club, four pubs and six food outlets.

The Bear in West Street is a traditional popular pub and the Pembroke Arms, in Minster Street, is also an hotel with a very fine restaurant. The Greyhound, in the Market Square, serves very good pub meals and The Wheatsheaf serves a selection of well-priced pub meals and can be found at the end of North Street on King Street, the A36 main road.

Wilton Club is a members only bar situated in North Street. In the Square you can relax and read some papers in Coffee Darling or have an inexpensive all day breakfast at the Café Blend and their Wilton Grill takeaway next door. Just down the road is Monte and Mables a new dog friendly coffee bar where you can actually take your dog!

Norma Farrelly Catering, in North Street, is an expert in outside catering and also supplies specially prepared, nutritious ready meals.

At the Shopping Village, there is a good value restaurant upstairs in Edinburgh Woollen Mill and in the beautiful ex-carpet factory courtyard, you will find Cobbs Café.
